The Farm

Chesterton Farm is a ‘proper’ working farm which has been in the family for many generations. Today four members of the Jenner family work hard upholding our traditional values, ensuring the highest quality welfare standards and produce. We use the best of conventional farming combined with the latest equipment to grow our crops and rear our animals.

From the moment you come up the farm drive, you’ll be surrounded in farm land and life. Crops growing either side of the drive, tractors in the field or in the yard, calves being nurtured and fed near the shops and our homebred beef grazing in the fields.

The farm is a 650 acre mixed farm rearing our own homebred beef, growing wheat and barley and we have a 150 cow dairy herd plus 150 young stock. Farming is a seasonal business totally dependent on the weather, seasons and environmental conditions and so each day is very different from the next.
